Why are transporting plants from one biome to another could cause environmental problems?

Should ecosystems be protected by law for transplantation?|||Plants that are not natural in an environment can take over an area, essentially out competing native plants. Such plants are called invasive species. Invasive species can spread rapidly and devastate ecosystems. They decrease biodiversity.

Some ecosystems are protected by law from invasive species (called bio-security) such as Hawaii.
