How is the scientific method used to solve environmental problems?

How is the scientific method applied in order to solve environmental problems? What is a real-life example? Please use correct terminology in your explanation.|||Science has remained relatively unpolitical compared to most things. Regardless of what anyone says, arguments in science stand on the merits of their evidence.

Scientists observe natural phenomena and then formulate a hypothesis as a possible explanation for it. They then conduct an experiment that sees if the hypothesis is supported. If the evidence from the experiment supports the hypothesis it is presented as a theory. A tested and supported explanation for a natural phenomena.

So it goes like this:

Observe something in nature =%26gt; Develop possible explanation (Hypothesis) =%26gt; Perform Experiment =%26gt; 1)Start over with new hypothesis if test fails 2)Present the new Theory to world if the evidence supports it.|||Badly, in most cases.

Do your own da*m homework.|||Actually, extreme liberals and politicians have their own unscientific method...it's known as greed and destruction. Although scientists attempt to use the scientific method, all logic goes out the window to satisfy some radical group trying to save something.|||The scientific method is thrown out the window and replaced with a Nationalist Socialist propaganda blitz that would make Joseph Goebbels poop his lederhosen. I poop my lederhosen fur der Schwarzen Fuher everyday.
