What are some environmental problems in atlanta?

what are some problems, and what has been done to try and prevent them?|||Air quality is number one...|||Well, the air quality is way below par...but so far, the city hasn't been doing much of anything about it. Just paying the annual fines...


Also, the sewage system is shot to hell, and will cost about a billion dollars to repair...but Atlanta doesn't have that kind of money in the till, so property taxes are being jacked through the roof.|||breathing...if you like to do that kind of thing...i have lived in the area on and off since 1985. It's the smog that holds the pollen...you'll hear it is so many plants and trees but that is stupid cos there was more in the past..it is the pollution from cars and the off gassing of all the tar and concrete that creates a heat blanket that can be seen for miles wide and up...nothing is being done to try and prevent this...
