What major environmental problems are we gonna face in next 20 years ?

in the future, 20/30/40 years wars will be fought over drinking water|||Yes exactly, it is the same threat. Environmental journalists are [facing] the same threats now as human rights journalists, or political journalists, or economic journalists were 10 to 20 years ago. I wouldn't say it's as dangerous as war reporting for instance but it is becoming a burning issue and a very delicate and highly sensitive issue to report on.|||Sadly, pollution may become a problem we will face in the next 20 or so years. This seems to be a problem already judging in the amounts of oil spills, gas leaks and car exhaust fumes. Also between 20-30 years things such as nuclear wars may start to break out causing major pollution. This has become a close call in a few situations already.|||regardless of what you read nothing has happened to the ozone layer it varies according the strength of solar flares and there have always been "holes " over the poles the only big problem from which all the other problems will come is the possible 12 billion people there will be in that time the human population has gone from arithmetic increase to geometric increase in eighty years, lets hope it doesn't go to exponential|||HI,

I m really scared about our future as we have to face these following problems-

-Global warming.

-Ozone layer depletion

-Air pollution etc.|||I'd say solar flares and ozone layer are some of the most immediate threats, in 20 years probably drinkable water and air pollution. Who knows?|||TOO many People- wanting to Build in TOO many Dangerous Places..! :(|||i think is air-pollution
