Do you believe humankind has the potential to solve or fix it's environmental problems?

This question is inspired by a film I recently saw called The 11th Hour. It explains how mankind has been destroying planet Earth since the discovery of natural resources. We now have huge issues like global warming, climate change and biodiversity problems. Do you feel humans can fix these issues? Why?|||Polio, Smallpox, the Hoover Dam, the lightbulb. We're always getting ourselves into a fix but we also always get ourselves out of it too.It's common knowledge that our government is 20 yrs. behind what the common man already knows and if your paying attention you'll see the common man has decided to take back the reigns. Money is what motivates politicians, our children's futures are what motivate us.|||sometimes. what i wish to believe is that we can redo what bad we have done. but it seems pretty bleak sometimes, like its so far away. but still, no harm trying((: hope we succeed.
