Is solution to environmental problems a responsibility of the government only?

This is really an important issue!|||NO....we as citizens need to cut down on environmental usage we do too to help the economy. Turn off lights when we aren't using them, not waste so much, walk instead of drive whenever we can, recycle what we can and not use things that aren't biodegradable like plastic bags at the grocery store! I also feel that companies that are posing a threat to our economy that are polluting the air and land and so on should have to come up with ways to stop the contamination. This is not the governments problem or responsibility it is that of the person destructing our economy and future!!!!!|||Absolutely not with regard to the federal government! In fact, I think regulations for protecting the environment by the federal government are largely ineffectual...the feds' proposed solutions end up with too much bureaucracy, take too long for change to occur and end up rewarding lawyers. The SuperFund is a prime example. Instead, state governments working in conjunction with citizens enact better environmental solutions with little legislation and involving business in a win-win for all. "We can realize more positive environmental outcomes faster by shifting tax code incentives and shifting market behavior than is possible from litigation and regulation." When citizens get the market involved, change occurs rapidly!|||Environmental problems are the responsibility of all the citizens of the world. I think the government should help hold people accountable for their environmental impact on the earth. But it is really the individual who should do their part.|||its very simple


All those who live in environment have to work together to protect it from being damaged.


So, Government is not only responible for environmental related problems!


Now-a-days more percent of earth is being damaged or destroyed because of man than natural calamities. This simply means we all had done something wrong or are still doing wrong with environment, biome and biosphere.


if we can't care MOTHER EARTH then it means we have no right to live on it...





We have some duties to earth which we aren't fullfiling. Scientists had recently found a planet which is having 'water in its liquid state, living conditions %26amp; same climate such as earth.' So, we should't think that we can settle down there. As it will also be destroyed by our such activities. And there are living conditions, so, there might be life. And its ' 20.5 light years' away, so its not that much easy to reach there.





SO, LET US ALL JOIN HANDS TOGETHER AND TAKE A PLEDGE TO SAVE OUR MOTHER EARTH...





Don't think that no one takes care of pollution so why should i, or there are already many wrapper by the road-side so what will happen if i'll also throw one.


if we all will think like that so What will happen? Can you imagine? if can't sweep roads so we shouldn't also throw.





And if there will be no start then how can we think of a good end.Just do it , neither wait for others to do nor think that they should also do the same. You just do good..
