Can we somehow solve environmental problems, stop the war and give gays equal rights without?

Listening to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton I came to the conclusion that destruction of America is absolutely necessary prerequisite to anything good on Earth.|||Take off ya tinfoil hat.|||Just keep "giving away" rights... "free" government money.... etc...





Then when the Fit hits the SHan..... elect a conservative to come in and fix the mess. THEN.. when the coffers are full and the budget is balanced..... the dopey people elect a liberal and the cycle repeats....





That's what has happened in Mass... Arkansas... California...... Maryland......|||I don't see what the enviroment, troop withdrawal, or GLBT rights have to do with welfare and civil liberties.|||Old traditional folks, specially those who grew up in the social apartheid... does not like any change in society to make USA citizens people with same rights.. They dont believe in the global warming because is gonna damage their oil bussiness if they support environmental laws limit their polution.|||Well, Ron Paul would leave the environment to the states, which would let CA New Hampshire etc develop their own automobile emissions requirements...





He would also leave marriage to the states, clearly, since regulating marriage is not an enumerated power of the Federal Government....





Defend civil liberties? Consistently, without fail, over a 20 year voting history.

If you REALLY want to wind up the Iraq Occupation, save the environment, and have equal rights for ALL, the Republican Party will not do this.|||Stop the war would be easy enough. We won't lose our civil liberties, we'll sacrifice some of our freedom to save the environment. We'll be brainwashed into believing it's worth it.


The whole time, anyone who disagrees with the process will be tagged as being influenced by the right wing. Ideas about working hard for personal gain will be squashed.


Don't worry about the destruction of America. Once we become citizens of the world, we'll be happy to be rid of our autonomy and share the fruits of our labor with our less fortunate fellow citizens.


Sounds dreamy doesn't it?


It will be a lot like modern day Iran.


Oh! I forgot. There's no gay people in Iran so that problem won't even need a solution.
