Do you think the world is a better world without the tecnologies that produced these environmental problems ?

Please give us your opinion about the question above. Technologies are good but we have to control the effect of it. Are we better off without it???|||Greetings!





Probably. But all the same we cannot achieve this progress (if we do make progress at all) without sacrificing SOME part of our environment. The case is we are wasting MORE and A LOT MORE than we should waste! Try to surf the net to see the figures of how much resources are wasted every year! It's a complete runaway effect that cannot be immediately stopped! All because of humans getting selfish and lacking discipline! And now we're hurrying to stop global warming, et al, when we could have prevented it decades before!(I'd better stop this before I lose my mind!)|||yesssssssssssssssssssssss|||Better in what way? Without technology, your teeth might rot, your apendix could burst, any number of things which we take for granted now would be worse off than with technology gone. Mankind has two ways to go, forward, or backward. If we go forward, we also need to learn how to dispose of our wastes better, or recycle. It's not a matter of stopping technology, but of spending the MONEY , to force the commercial businesses to absorb the true costs of a process to be felt by everyone ; maybe then, people would think twice before using something. Unfortunately, mining and logging can leave an area stripped, and they're not held accountable for replacing the resources they took. That's changing now, so hopefully it will continue so we can renew our renewables for future humans.
