Christians, what do you think followers of Jesus should be doing about environmental problems?

Do you expect that the world is ending soon anyway, so there's nothing you and your local congregation should be doing to protect Creation from the effects of human greed and folly?

Or are you or your congregation active in trying to be "good stewards" of the earth and its plants %26amp; animal life? Please share.|||God made us the world's steward. That means we are permitted to USE it as we see fit, but use it responsibly.|||I have noticed with delight there is a growing green movement among American churches.|||it doesn't matter, the end is near... jesus will return soon.|||Even unbelievers that are "scientists", aren't in agreement that there are ANY "environmental problems".|||The world is ending soon anyway. Praying about environmental problems is probably the best we can do if we can do nothing to help reduce the problem.|||Well, we were appointed stewards of the earth. We should be Buddhist-like in our thinking about the earth.
