What are some of the environmental problems of the Salton Sea?

Any help would be appreciated!|||What's going on out there is that the entire Salton Sea is no longer a naturally fed water body. It's fed entirely from agriculture runoff in Imperial Valley. So it is filled with all sorts of pesticides and what not. Add to that periods of water scarcity and you see rapid declines in water level, concentrating the salinity and pesticides, which leads to massive plant and animal declines.
