What environmental problems do 15-20 year olds mainly contribute to?

Hi, I'm researching envrionmental issues that are more specific to this age bracket, both in what they cause and what they are most interested in environment-wise.|||Wasting electricity!!!! Whether it be keeping on their computers on all night, or buying pointless electronics. If every household in America had one of those picture frames that changes pictures.....we'd have to build approximately 17 more power plants, just to power those stupid frames alone!





The long term effects are that this generation sees these things as "acceptable" behavior, and will continue doing harm to the enviornment without realizing it.|||Well most teens: litter, they don't recycle, driving (instead of walking etc) leaving things plugged in, leaving lights on, wasting water, noise pollution, eating meat, using environmentally toxic products. The biggest problem probably is the recycling, honestly i'm a teen and I don't see any of my friends turning in their old cellphones or spare computer parts, they put batteries in the trash, use plastic water bottles like they don't have a tap in their house (If it tastes bad get a filter!!!!!) Whats sad is that most of them don't car about the planet! :(|||A major problem thats a hot topic, is how they like to eat lots of fast food and drink carbonized sodas! So they belch and pass gas alot which releases gasses and carbon into the atmosphere and may be increasing global warming? Which basically the teenagers are melting the polar caps and then where will all the Baby seals live??? WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAN HUMANS! ; - )|||I would say driving, littering, not recycling... but those can be anyone, not just 15-20 year olds, just that 15-20 year olds can't really do other things like work at a business that highly pollutes. Even then, I guess some could. The minors couldn't but the adults could. 15-20 is a weird age interval to choose.|||over population . they are all at it like rabbits on ecstacy .


homelessness . they are taking up all the housing with their pit bulls %26amp; their weed growing .


ozone . growing %26amp;smoking weed aint doing the ozone layer any good at all .


anywat , youd be better off asking them cos they know everything .|||they litter, alot. They consume electricity and other such resources wastefully, considering that most of them don't pay their own utility bills.|||Driving to useless destinations, eating fast food, eating meat, not being conscious of lights and leaving things plugged in, spending more time watching television.|||They use energy spending a lot of time on the internet researching answers to questions that their hippy teachers pose in order to make them more environmentally conscious.|||From observation, I would say littering and NOISE POLLUTION!|||SKATEBOARDING!!!!|||at this age teenagers most of the time causes STRESS in their parents=)
