3. birds eggs breaking because the shells are too thin. stop using DDT.


4. minor earthquakes were occurring near Denver. stop pumping sewage into deep wells.


5. soot was coating everything downstream of coal fired generating plants. require plants to remove particulate matter from smoke coming out of their chimneys.
